The company was founded in 1998, now it brings together offices in 14 cities in Russia and the CIS, as well as more than 700 partners of the dealer network across Russian Federation. The Polymedia holding's structure includes among others ART Polymedia – the company specializing in rental & staging solutions for live events.

Polymedia is the permanent member of the international association for AV system integrators InfoComm International® and the international display community SID. CEO of the company Elena Novikova is a member of InfoComm 100 (an annual gathering of audiovisual industry thought leaders, organized by InfoComm's Leadership Development Committee).

The Polymedia service center is authorized by leading manufacturers of audiovisual and interactive equipment — Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Sony, Epson, Casio, WolfVision, Crestron International, Extron Electronics, Promethean, Sanako and Samsung.

Being in the front line of AV technologies development, the company brings new trends in the industry. Today Polymedia sees the future lying in development of information and analytical systems, and, using its experience and expertise, since 2015 develops situation centers and control rooms on the basis of the new information and analytical Visiology platform.

One of the priority branch of the company's business is the development of solutions for education, in which the Polymedia creates projects for educational institutions, supports government initiatives and implements its own education support program.

Polymedia organizes training programs for AV professionals and school teachers who wish to improve their knowledge in ICT. The Academy "Auditorium" – Polymedia’s training center – regularly hosts seminars of the leading audiovisual manufacturers. The Academy also has a license of the Moscow Department for Education on training teachers to work with interactive school equipment.
